Modrinth Cobbleverse constantly crashing

I switched to Modrinth cobbleverse and now it just constantly crashes. This didn't happen in curseforge version (just had a different set of problems hence the switch). I found it mostly happens whenever I have other apps open (google chrome, discord, etc.) so I have everything else closed out when I play, but even then my game still crashes, as far as I know, no logs show up or anything, just completely closes out my game and sometimes even just makes my screen go completely black. It has gotten to the point where when I travel and my game crashes, it'll straight up teleport me back a couple thousand blocks that I had already travelled and now even has completely emptied my backpack out of nowhere and deleted all my waystone teleports, what can I do to prevent these crashes, is there anything I even can do?
