We act like strangers now but the eye contact says otherwise

Long story short, I used to talk to this girl, things got messy, and we haven’t spoken in months. Recently there’s been a lot of eye contact/tension again at school and I’m considering trying to reconnect in person.

Am I overthinking signs that probably mean nothing?
