Wash day final part

Can someone explain why when I’m detangling after my wash day routine with leave in conditioner, and I put my hair in twists to maintain the detangled hair, the next morning since it’s a twist out the ends are kind of just tangling up and my hair doesn’t really feel fully detangled? The new hairdresser I’m going to asked for my hair to be detangled so she can use the blow dryer on it but I’m not too sure if it’s truly detangled. It looks like a nice combed out fro after but I can’t take my fingers through it without running into tangles.
