(invincible) Viltrumites have the most uninteresting powers flight and super strength, while the first seasons introduce earth heros with cool "unique" abilities, 90% of the story is about Viltrumites

Jujutsu Kaisen and MHA

When it started JJK was promising, some cool characters with a power systems inspired by HxH it ended up falling off, the main character has no power besides strong punch for 90% of the serie, the concept of Heavenly Restrictions is presented, you get something bad for something good in exchange, there are only 3 characters who have HR, Two of them being no power but super super strength and the most interesting one being weak body but strong power die in his first serious fight

The manga introduce 4 "SPECIAL GRADES" sorcerer being the most powerful character while the first 3 actually got unique abilities, the last one (a long awaited one) ended up with.... The ability to had mass, so just another flavor of super strength

One of the characters with an actual original ability ended up being called potential man by the fandom because of how bad he actually use his power, he can summon cool animals with different abilities and FUSE THEM but only summons the dog and only use the fusion one time

MHA

Same problem, cool cast with various power but the man character only has super strength

Both serie tried to solve this by making the main character capable of welding multiple power by the end of the manga but by this time too many fights were just super strength vs super strength

(hated trope) in a world full of cool power, the main cast is just super strength merchant
