Confused between X8 pro max and poco f7 for my father

Suggest me which better X8 pro max or poco f7. No gaming and all. Just heavy screen time . Priority is to get good battery life and long term phone. Was planning to go with f7 but it's too bulky and X8 pro max reviews say that it gets hot . Any X8 pro max user can share your experience
