What’s your WORST hourly rate vs your BEST hourly rate from a side hustle?

I'm curious, but what's the worst hourly rate you've ever had with a side hustle vs your best hourly rate? 😅

For me, my worst hourly rate has been negative lol. Basically spent time and some money editing a YouTube video for a $700 brand sponsor, only to get ghosted in the last minute and never paid. Learned my lesson and try charging 50% upfront now haha.

Had this happen once also for a freelance writing assignment.

In contrast the best hourly rate I ever had was for a $2,000 monthly SEO retainer, also back in the blogging glory days. Probably spent about 2 hours per week running reports and sending over some suggestions. Wanted to work more but was a classic startup situation where there was so much going on, people took forever to get back to me so I had a lot of waiting around time. Was a beautiful gravy train for 3 months.
