NAS + router + modem all on one UPS — is that actually what people do?
I'm designing a DC UPS specifically for NAS setups and trying to nail down the output port configuration. Currently debating whether to include dedicated outputs for router and modem, or just focus on the NAS itself.
Curious what real setups look like:
- Do you protect just the NAS, or the whole stack (router, modem/ONT, switch, Pi…)?
- If you're running a mini PC as a NAS — is it 12V or 19V?
My assumption going in was "NAS + router + modem is the common combo" but would rather validate that than guess. What's your setup?
