Are sports sunglasses actually worth buying, or are regular sunglasses good enough for outdoor activities?
I’ve often seen people wearing sunglasses for different activities like cricket, cycling, running, and other sports. I am unclear whether they actually make a change or are purely aesthetic.
Inputs welcome.
Sports glasses and sunglasses are entirely different categories of eyewear, and many people remain confused between them because of inadequate knowledge. Sports glasses, in comparison to sunglasses, are built differently.
They are created using TR90, which makes them lightweight, highly durable & flexible. Since they fit better with a firm grip, the eyes remain protected not only from UVA/B rays but also from distractions caused by sunlight, dust, and wind blast.
Sports sunglasses are a better companion for physical activities that involve quick movement. As said earlier, they are designed to fit better for long hauls. This level of fit & comfort makes it easier to concentrate on the game.
But this doesn’t mean that everyone must wear sports glasses. Many people tend to indulge in sports occasionally, and in such cases, regular sunglasses suffice. The only difference is noticed when they’re worn by people who spend long hours while indulging in sports activities, where visibility & eye comfort matter.
