Dreaming of fighting anomolies

Nightmare

I've been having these dreams where I am a trained fighting and have to fight these different curses. They come in all different shapes and forms. At first, the scene starts out normal, everything is fine. In fact, the dream is sort of silly. I am either with friends or people I "know", just experiencing certain scenes and such. But then something occurs, the moment continues and its not like its a sudden switch up.

For example, me and this "friend" of mine—forgot who she was—were watching this guy who looked... not right get playfully beat by his girlfriend. We were all laughing while he had this crooked smile and was a little lopsided.

Ive had this same dream scene twice, for reference.

The first time, the girlfriend wished to leave with her boyfriend. And we let her. And that was the end of my dream that day. But today, the same dream occured—only after the small playful beat of something that didnt look like itd cause that much harm, me and this "friend" of mine felt off about this woman when she told her boyfriend to come with her.

So my "friend" shakes their head and brings him behind her.

The woman soon disappears, I can no longer see her. Instead, she whispers something about, "Fine. I'll just retrieve him myself" or something of the sort and turns into a "curse" or whatever the sort.

And so I am left to fight this curse. But this time, I feel noticeably weaker than I usually am in these instances for some reason and wind up losing. Then, I am taken to this.. "bounty screen" when I try to wake up because obviously, I'm scared and wish to.. I dunno, try again maybe to try and get a game plan in. The bounty increases all the way to 10+ value.

And then after that, I wake up. Obviously, I to try and sleep once more, only to get a dream I already had about fighting a curse on a plane after already winning.

Can someone please explain to me whats going on? Or at least give me solutions? As cool as these are for a writer such as myself, Id rather not experience them anymore and would just like a peaceful rest.

As an add on, I like to deem myself a pretty lucid dreamer since I dont feel not in control when I'm dreaming and am able to pull myself out of said dreams when they get too much for me to handle.
