Title: Locked In

​Format: One-Act Play (written for a 45-minute stage performance)

​Page Length: 45 Pages

​Genres: Family Drama / Tragedy

​Logline or Summary: After her father's death, a young woman in Norilsk orchestrates a desperate lie to secure her future, leading to a confrontation that leaves her uncle trapped in a nightmare.

​Feedback Concerns: I’m mainly venting about grading. I hit the 45-page mark for a 45-minute assignment (8,591 words), but got outscored by a 29-page script that was 16 minutes short of the requirement. I want to know if the technical craft and stage directions (lighting/sound) actually come through or if my professors were right to grade it "randomly."

I know I'm not perfect, but come fucking on. This is my first professional attempt at script writing. Please feel free to tell me where I can improve.
