Recommendations

Any recommendations for gaming laptop or pc? I don’t mind having either or, trying to get away from MacBook Air 2021 M1. I want to be able to play steam games (finally). Budget? 700-900. I’m not in tune with the vernacular, but my mentality is since I have a ps5, I’d rather do the hardcore gaming there, but I was about to get the pro after the price went up, so I’m debating whether a pc or laptop that is better than the ps5 pro. Any recommendations? This will be my first pc or laptop. Never played steam games.
