USCIS Homeland Defender / Immigration Services Officer remote position

I recently applied for the USCIS Homeland Defender / Immigration Services Officer remote position under the Direct Hire announcement and was wondering if anyone else has applied recently and has any updated timeline information.

Most of the Reddit threads and timelines I’ve found so far are from about 2–3 months ago, so I’m curious if anyone has:

  • recently been referred
  • received a TJO
  • completed fingerprints/background steps
  • heard anything about training or onboarding

Also wondering if anyone had an interview or if selections are mostly being made directly from the application package.

just trying to get idea of a updated timeline
