WIBTAH for asking for a dogs vax records?

My best friend recently moved into a duplex and her landlords are close friends. They own two yippy small dogs. One nipped me in the back of my calf, I'm not sure which one. And everyone kind of down played it and said I would be fine.

WIBTAH if I asked the landlord for her dog's rabies vaccine records? I've only met the landlord once but already know it'll probably be taken offensively. And I'm trying to avoid unnecessary shots that I won't need a week before my honeymoon.

Ultimately if she can't provide records I feel like I should just go get the shots to be safe or wait the 10 day window to see if either dog has symptoms.
