ngenuity screensharing issue

whenever i screenshare something with the ngenuity software open (to equalize the hyperx cloud iii headset), my friends can hear themselves and myself (duplicated) as well. is there any way to get around this or do i just have to close the ngenuity software every time i screenshare?
