Most sales are lost during follow-up, not lead generation

I’m starting to think most businesses don’t actually have a lead generation problem.

They have a follow-up problem.

A lot of deals already had interest:

- calls booked

- demos done

- conversations started

Then momentum disappeared because:

- replies were delayed

- nobody followed up properly

- leads went cold

- no system detected the drop-off

Most revenue loss seems to happen quietly in the middle of the pipeline.

Curious if others here have noticed the same thing.
