Rash (not anywhere near application site) with estrogen gel (mild side-effect)
I'm not really worried about this since it seems to be a well-known possible side effect. I suppose the fact that it's gel as opposed to some other method is irrelevant as the rash is nowhere near the gel application site.
I started estrogen gel five days ago, applying alternately to left and right arms.
Twice since then I've had moderately painful but short-lived (maybe an hour or two) rashes in a particular place on the front of my upper right leg. They go away within an hour or two. The rash is not obviously visible but feels like a burning sensation. I've read that this should stop maybe within a few weeks as my body adjusts.
I just wondered what other people's experiences were - did you get a rash like this, in one specific place (not near the application site), or in different places? How often, and how long did each occurrence last? And how long before this stopped?
