Vail hotel/food

Hi I’m going right after Memorial Day, so hopefully most things will be open.

Whats a good hotel rec for walking distance to the village and good amenity? I wanted to stay at the Hythe but I couldn’t justify the price, especially at this shoulder period time.

Also what is your favorite restaurants that don’t break bank??
