(IK this issue has been posted but its like few years old)

Recently ive spent more time fixing this issue than actually play the game (Phantom Liberty). After opening any kind of menu the fps drops instantly after resuming it. Ive read online that it might be a memory leak issue. Night City runs even higher fps like 80, dog town runs 60 but if you open a map or any menu it gets cooked and i have to restart the game to play it.

What ive done so far to fix this issue:
- Disable re bar
- Force 16x anisotropic in nvidia app
- Low Cascade Shadow Resolution
- Used DDU and reinstalled graphics driver
- Disabled fullscreen optimizations
- Power management mode set to prefer maximum performance in nvidia app
- DLSS override - frame gen set to recommended and super res set to preset M in nvidia app
- Low Latency Mode Ultra in nvidia app
- Set frame cap to 60 in nvidia app (doesnt work)
- used process lasso to set cpu and gpu priority high (didn’t touch affinity)
- using Mem Reduct to clear memory after 5 minutes
- Installed CET and turned Disable Async Compute option
- Turned off ray traced sun shadows
- Disabled Analytics in Gameplay settings
- Prioritize P cores
- Clean reinstall (ran better but same issue started happening again)

Settings ive been runnin
RT on ( DLSS ray construction off)
crowd density High
Textures High
All settings in advanced are high or ultra except
- cascaded shadow range and cascaded shadow res at low
-volumetric fog res low
- volumetric cloud quality med
- SSR med

Running at native resolution 2560x1600
Full screen

My rig (Laptop)

Intel Ultra 9
RTX 5060 (8gb)
16gb ddr5 (6400MHz) RAM
1TB SSD
