Are e14s durable enough?

Buying Advice

I am loooking for a durable laptop that lasts years (5-10) without any build qulaity issues?

I was considering a legion pro but then I am ok with compromising on the graphics by getting a weaker but durable laptop, hence the thinkpad.

  1. I have heard mixed reviews on amd being better than intel for thinkpads. I prefer better cooling and efficiency over performance.
2 Are E14s just a little better ideapads? came across many similar comments?

  2. Really dont want to spend more than 1L on something that doesnt even provide a dGPU.

  3. Theres also an amd variant that costs 30k less for 16GB ram variant. I would rather use that money to make it dual channel? https://www.lenovo.com/in/en/p/laptops/thinkpad/thinkpade/lenovo-thinkpad-e14-gen-7-14-inch-amd-laptop/21t0s0dq00

  4. Any way to get more discount by givig up on windows/ms-office license by getting no OS versions? There areny many options in lenovo website.

Reddit guidelines:

  1. a clear budget: INR 100k +- 20k
  2. a clear use case: Virtual machines, coding and low end gaming
  3. target specs or specs of your current system.: 32GB RAM
