Polestar owners… how secure are these cars really against theft?

Question

Just picked up a Polestar 4 and absolutely loving it so far. The design, drive and interior are all brilliant.

One of my biggest gripes though (and I know I’m not alone here) is the phone key / remote entry reliability. About 50% of the time I end up having to physically take my phone out of my pocket to unlock the car. Occasionally pressing the button on the door handle works, but it’s very hit and miss.

Which got me thinking about security in general.

I’m based in SW London, UK, and there’s been a noticeable rise in car thefts around here lately… especially Range Rovers and other keyless-entry cars. As the owner of a shiny new P4, I’m curious how secure the Polestar actually is against relay theft or other common methods? Do people still jimmy cars?

Are there things owners here are doing to safeguard the car? Faraday pouch for phone/key card? PIN to drive? Disabling passive entry? Anything else worth knowing?

Would appreciate hearing real-world experiences from my fellow P4 owners / other polestar drivers.
