I'm pretty sure this is a raven because he's huge!!

I noticed two ravens coming and walking around my house a few weeks ago, but now I only see one.

last week I decided to put out some dry food on the tree stump honestly not thinking he'd jump up there because he'd have to fly into my yard that's gated and ended up forgetting about it and let my dog hang out in the yard. about half and hour later I hear my dog absolutely going off! I go outside and see my dog resource guarding the food and the raven on the fence yelling back 😭 I immediately got my dog inside and the raven swooped down onto the stump and started chowing down! dog is not allowed out there after I put dog food out now lol

I'm outside everyday tending to the other neighborhood birds and hummingbirds that I feed, and that's when I'll see him in the area flying around so once I'm done I'll go grab a scoop of dry food and set it on the stump, not sure if he's coming by and eating it every time but something is eating the dry food since it'll be gone the next morning lol

I have seen him once drink from the bird fountain as well! it was surreal seeing this gigantic, awesome but slightly scary bird perched on this little bird fountain lol

turns out, my new friend really likes the little dried turkey pieces in the food and ignores the actual kibble lol

my new raven friend!
