Why are adrenaline dumps so much scarier alone

My partner has been out of town often this year and I’ve had an adrenaline dump every time. (Suspecting it’s always around the same part of my cycle.)

Waking up at 2 or 3am with my heart racing, shaking, feeling like I want to puke. Last time I drove myself to the hospital knowing it would get better before I checked in. this time I just splashed water on my face and laid down and cried.

This is so hard. :(

I’m so scared my kids will find me passed out or worse. :( on the plus side I always have so much gas after so at least my partner doesn’t have to deal with that… haha
