Their adjuster won't stop calling and i'm losing my mind

Got rear-ended at a light a few days ago and now my car is sitting at a shop while I'm stuck taking Ubers everywhere. The other guy's insurance is calling me literally every few hours trying to get me to "settle" and I haven't even had a chance to get my neck checked out properly yet.

I'm trying to look up how this stuff even works because I've never been in a wreck before. I was reading through some things on some sites just to see if I’m being paranoid. It feels like they’re just trying to get me to sign away my rights before I even know if my car is actually totaled or just needs a new bumper.

Every time I pick up the phone they act like they're doing me a favor by offering a quick check right now. I just want my car back and for my head to stop throbbing. Anyone else dealt with an adjuster that's this pushy right out of the gate? I feel like I should just stop answering until I know for sure what the actual damage is.
