18M from India, 12th pass + dummy college — want to start earning & build a business, need real advice

Hi everyone,

I’m an 18-year-old from India. I’ve completed my 12th and currently enrolled in a dummy college, so I have a lot of free time and flexibility.

I don’t want to follow the traditional path. My goal is to become an entrepreneur and start earning as soon as possible.

Here’s my situation:

- Beginner in coding (currently learning Python)

- Can invest a small amount (₹1,000–₹5,000)

- Have internet + smartphone/laptop

- Ready to work hard and take risks

- Prefer something scalable (not just trading time for money long-term)

I’ve been exploring things like:

- Freelancing

- Content creation (X/Instagram)

- No-code SaaS

- Clipping/editing

- Building an app for a real problem

But I’m confused about where to focus so I don’t waste time.

What I’m looking for:

- What would YOU start if you were in my position?

- Skills I should focus on that can make money fast

- Business ideas that actually work in India (especially for beginners)

- Mistakes I should avoid at this stage

I’m not afraid of hard work — I just want to put my effort in the right direction.
