MMets fans traveling to Seattle? I may finally do a solo trip

The series begins Monday, June 1 — my birthday. Also the anniversary of Johan Santana’s no-hitter, which feels like a good omen because the Mets usually do well on my birthday. So I’m thinking about going.

By myself.

It’s been a rough year. I lost my very dearest friend, and she was always the person who did something with me on my birthday. She also never hesitated to go to Mets games with me out here in California whenever I asked. So this feels like kind of a double whammy.

Nobody else can really go. My brothers mostly can’t make it-they are all Yankee fans any way  

So I’m taking a leap and doing this solo.

Back in the 2000s I traveled all over for work, but somehow this feels different. I’m basically committing to Monday and Tuesday night games by myself, and I’m a little worried about ending up in the wrong section because… I’m a born and raised Queens girl. I cheer. Loudly. I can’t help it. 😂

So I figured I’d ask:

Are any fan groups going? Any tailgates happening? Any Mets fans sitting together anywhere?

Would honestly love to be around some fellow orange-and-blue people.
