He ended our relationship

Don’t even know what to call our relationship, it was quite complicated, we never met in real life more like online friendships turned to love. It was him who said he loved me and for like 2 months I said no to that for many reasons but at a point I fell for him and it was going good. He is a student and we don’t get much time to spend together but I was ok with that and randomly this dude comes to me and says he is dragging me with him and he thinks I will suffer in this relationship and he don’t want to hurt me and I was like dude now you are saying this after all this time.. he had to wait till I fall for him?? I’m really confused and really hurt right now cause when I fell for him I fell hard and I even started seeing a future with him .. bs . I feel sooo stupid now.
