Inspiration for the desired change comes from this post: [https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1n53rca/ddgn43\_asfs\_truxtun\_nuclear\_guided\_missile/](https://www.reddit.com/r/KerbalSpaceProgram/comments/1n53rca/ddgn43_asfs_truxtun_nuclear_guided_missile/)

I don't hate the current design of my gravship, but I got lost into the conundrum of 'how do I make weapons look aesthetically pleasing on this? Eventually it struck me, DMS Expedition probably had the right idea. Thus, I'd like to make it look more realistic and utilitarian! I can probably get rid of the big nuclear launch silo, retain smaller ones. I'd like to make it feel like a more grounded, realistic, near-future, space warship. More compact, utiliarian, and likely appear modular. The entire aesthetic would likely need to be redone. I would likely need to sacrifice some capabilities in order to achieve this, but I will do what it takes. Advise me on what I must do! I'm also open to taking direct messages if anyone actually cares enough about something silly like this. :>

* The current issues I'm facing are: I can't make the ship much longer due to the grav field amplifiers being close to the maximum distance away from the grav engine.
* I lack a dedicated mechanoid/automatroid area, and dedicated place to deploy them from.
* The profile of the ship is too fat, and chunky to support the design I'd like to try and bring into being.
* I am trying to make the logistics as self-sustainable as possible, though it is becoming increasinly difficult. Making it more space efficient is difficut but likely will be mandatory.

I am also welcome to any suggestions for mods that may make the goal easier for me to accomplish! You may notice the 'Biotech for Gravship' and many other mods.
