Over the last few weeks, I’ve been trying to seriously understand how beginners should actually start investing in the Indian stock market. Earlier, most of my knowledge came from Instagram reels and YouTube shorts, where investing is often shown as a quick way to make money. But after reading more and seeing real investor experiences, I realized that beginners usually lose money because they jump into trading or F&O without understanding basics like risk management, market psychology, and long-term investing.

One thing I personally learned is that starting with SIPs and fundamentally strong companies makes much more sense than trying to make quick profits from intraday or options trading. I also understood why having an emergency fund before investing is important, because market volatility can emotionally affect decisions when money is needed urgently.

Another thing that stood out to me is how dangerous the “double money” mindset is. Social media mostly highlights profits, but very few people talk about consistency, patience, and losses. After learning more, I now feel beginners should spend more time understanding compounding, diversification, and discipline rather than searching for the next multibagger stock every day.

I wrote down everything I learned in a detailed Hindi beginner guide covering Demat accounts, SIPs, investing basics, risk management, and common mistakes:

Would genuinely like to know from experienced investors here:

* What was your biggest beginner mistake?
* What advice would you give someone starting today?
* Do you think social media is making investing look unrealistically easy?

Agar aaj se stock market start karna ho toh kaise karoge?
