Apologising and Urging the Mods to reinstate comments
Yesterday, I had made a post. It included a comment by a lady from a CF4CF post by u/dr_scalpels.
The comment in question was "living with parents means you are still stuck to your mother's umbilical cord".
Unfortunately, I thought that the comment was extremely hateful and reported it since it seemed like a personal opinion rather than a specific observation of the OP. The mods subsequently deleted it along with another one of her comment.
But after my post, someone checked the doctor's user history and found that he was lying about his family being "chill and easygoing". Other users also changed their sympathy for him based on the same.
While the lady did not mention any of this in her several original comments, it turns out in hindsight that she was inadvertently right about him. Clearly, she sensed something was wrong as a psychologist. Kudos to her 👏
I apologise to that lady for my specific action of reporting as well and urge the mods to reinstate her comments, which should've been judged with much more careful scrutiny. I also request them to take action against the doctor guy.
Cheers
