CC or UCSD?

I know this might seem super weird asking to go to UCSD or CC because the answer seems obvious. However, I have many doubts on going to UCSD. I am going in for economics/business economics, and plan to enter the finance world. UCSD is by NO means a bad school, but for business it is not as strong because they do not have a business school. If I got in for a stem major, I would definitely be happy to go. Right now, I am waitlisted at many of my top choices for business/business economics schools (cornell, nyu, ucla, etc). I really really want to go to UCLA, as it has been my dream for a few years. I know it is super competitive, but I know UC to UC transfers are more difficult than (California) CC to UC. Should I go to a local CC and then transfer to UCLA second or third year. Or should I stay in UCSD and try to transfer out for sophomore year to not just UCLA but other business schools? Again, I love UCSD’s environment and student body, but if I want to pursue business (finance) in the future, I don’t think it’s the best fit. This whole process has been really rough on me, and I an really conflicted. I am not too educated on the whole transfer process, so if anyone has suggestions or advice, they are greatly appreciated.
