How do HF/AM view poly graduates?

Y1 NP Banking and Finance. Curious how do HF/AM or even IB/PE view poly graduates who have graduated from big 3 (NUS/NTU/SMU)?

Recently started doing linkedin search and most HF/AM analysts and PM are from JC, although there’s some poly graduates. IB/PE even greater concentration of JC graduates. Is there a stigma against poly graduates even if they graduated from big 3, or is the current demographic of employees in these firms more likely due to other factors e.g. smaller percentage of poly graduates try to enter this industry compared to JC graduates?

Purpose of asking: I only realised during wait for poly that I really want to get into these roles (they’re vastly different but I was advised to not “hard focus” too early, so understand a range of what I want to do) and considering if it’s worth to transfer to a JC (can only qualify for TMJC and JPJC) instead and do A levels (regarding studying, I used to not like studying so much and want to do my own passion projects, but since that realisation started I also started being mugger anyway)
