best electric guitar brand for someone confused between brands vs models when starting out?

Been trying to figure out if I should even focus on a best electric guitar brand or if I’m overthinking it and should just pick a solid model instead. I keep bouncing between stuff like entry level and midrange options but everything starts to blur together after a while.

Is it actually smarter to just stick with something like Fender or Ibanez and not stress too much about the label, or does the brand really matter that much when you’re still learning what you like? I’m trying to avoid buying something I’ll regret in a few months. thanks!
