I Built WildRiftCore: A Wild Rift Guide Site for Counters, Draft, Builds and Champion Mastery

Educational

Hi everyone,

I’m Ellieanth, a passionate Wild Rift player, Challenger, and junior web developer.

About a year ago, I started a small project mainly to practice web development. The idea was pretty simple: create an interactive database around champion counters, so players could quickly check what to pick, what to avoid, and how to react during draft.

At first, it was just a personal project.

But as my skills improved, and with the help of AI tools for research, structure and development, I kept pushing it further. Little by little, that small counter tool became https://wildriftcore.com.

My goal is to build something genuinely useful for Wild Rift players, whether they are beginners or already experienced. Not just another site that shows builds or raw data, but a place that helps explain matchups, draft logic, champion identity, win conditions, common mistakes, and why certain choices actually matter in game.

I also have a teaching background, so I naturally wanted the site to be educational, clear, and easy to use. I wanted to make something more focused on player progression than the usual websites that mostly display information without much explanation.

The site is still young, so some parts will definitely keep improving. If you notice missing information, unclear content, bugs, or anything that feels wrong, there is a contact page on the site where you can send feedback directly. That would honestly help me a lot.

The site has been online for around 3 months now, and its growth through Google search has been really strong so far. Seeing players find it, use it, and come back makes me feel like the project is going in the right direction.

I waited a bit before officially sharing it with the community because I wanted to fix a few things first, but I’m really happy to finally present it today.

There are some ads on the site, and I prefer to be transparent about it. They help cover the cost of keeping the project online and continuing to improve it.

I’d really love to hear your feedback: what you like, what feels unclear, what is missing, or what tools you would like to see next.

I still have a lot of ideas, especially around builds, draft tools, and fun modes like ARAM, Arena and Adventure.

You can also sign up on the site if you want to follow future updates. I recently applied for the Riot Partner Program, so hopefully that could open some interesting opportunities later.

Thanks to anyone who takes the time to check it out and share feedback.

I truly hope WildRiftCore can help players better understand their games, improve, and in the end enjoy what we all want from Wild Rift: having fun.
