Books on feeling like your choices have never been truly your own?
Hello all! I'm looking for a book (fiction or non-fiction) that deals with feeling like all the choices you made aren't really your choices, or rather you you were expected to make them (even without enormous pressure from the outside). Like all the things you've done you've kind of done because you knew that was the natural path to you, but now you're starting to question whether they were really your choices or not, as you feel like you've been moving on autopilot.
It could be something like "you've left your city because you never thought other options were possible", "you went to uni because that's what you were supposed to do", or "you left your country because that's just how you thought your life could go, and you wanted to escape a sad situation".
Thank you very much!
