Shipped my first Swift app to the App Store. Therapy prep voice agent built on Apple Intelligence.
First time writing Swift. Six weeks from idea to App Store approval. Apple approved it in under an hour on launch day.
I built Prelude because I personally needed it. I kept showing up to therapy sessions and blanking, then remembering everything I wanted to say on the drive home. The app runs a voice agent before each session to surface what’s actually on your mind, then generates a structured session brief you and your therapist work through together. Weekly emotional trend graph on top of that.
The walls I hit: voice echo during agent playback, response truncation on brief generation, the AI getting repetitive after a few exchanges. Figured them out one by one. The whole thing runs on Foundation Models and the premium on-device Apple voices. No server, no account, nothing leaves the device. Works fully offline.
Free forever. No ads, no IAP. Built it as a charity project for the mental health community. My own therapist said sessions noticeably improved once we started using the briefs.

Happy to talk stack, architecture, or any of the walls I hit.
