How India teams help agencies win proposals they could not before

Something I did not expect when we built our India delivery practice. We started winning proposals we had no business even competing for.

Recent example. A mid-sized SaaS company needed a team of 8 devs on a 6-month build. Budget was 400k total. US-only agencies were quoting 800k minimum. A pure offshore shop was quoting 250k, but the client was nervous about quality.

We positioned as a hybrid, 2 senior US leads for architecture and client-facing, 6 India devs for execution, managed a team model, not staff aug. Priced at 380k.

Won the deal. The client got US quality oversight with offshore economics.

The Indian employment is through Wisemonk, so all the compliance and payroll runs clean. We just focused on sales, delivery, and client relationships.

This hybrid model has become our main pitch now. Full US teams are too expensive, full offshore teams scare clients, and hybrid hits the sweet spot.

Is anyone else pitching this way?
