Anyone else frustrated that Double Tap can’t launch Apple Pay anymore while using Wrist Flick?

I recently upgraded from an Apple Watch Series 7 to an Apple Watch Series 11, and I’m disappointed that my previous gesture workflow is no longer possible.

On my Series 7, I used AssistiveTouch and customized the double tap gesture to quickly launch Apple Pay. It was one of the most convenient features I used every day.

On the Series 11, however, the new gesture system seems to conflict with AssistiveTouch gestures, so this setup no longer works.

What I want is simple:

• Wrist Flick gesture for dismiss/close actions
• Double Tap gesture for launching Apple Pay

But currently, it seems impossible to separate or customize them this way.

I really hope Apple considers adding:

• Independent settings for Wrist Flick and Double Tap
• The ability to use AssistiveTouch gestures alongside the new gesture system
• An option to assign Apple Pay to Double Tap
• More customizable gesture mapping overall

Am I the only one frustrated by this change?
