[Metal/Tharsh Metalcore] King Ern - Disgust at the Horror (2026)
Hey everyone!
This is actually one of our first posts on Reddit and we wanted to introduce ourselves here as well!
We’re KING ERN, a thrash metalcore band from Berlin, Germany.
We started the band in 2019 with the idea of combining aggressive thrash riffs, hardcore energy and dark atmosphere into our own sound. Since then we’ve released our debut EP “No Rush”, several singles, played shows in Germany and the UK, and even had the chance to open for Skinlab (USA).
Our newest single “Disgust At The Horror” was released on May 1st.
The song is about fear, nightmares and the inability to separate dreams from reality. We wanted to create something very visual and intense, heavy groove-oriented riffs, hardcore vocals and creepy horror atmosphere with a music-box intro and dark melodic elements.

We’d really appreciate any feedback and would also love to discover more underground bands from Berlin or anywhere else with a similar vibe, so feel free to share your music too.
Thanks for listening!
