Which Arm Would You Tattoo for a Forearm Sleeve?

General Advice

Planning to get my first tattoo and decided I want a forearm sleeve. The one thing I genuinely can’t decide is which arm to tattoo.

I workout a lot, so I’ve got pretty solid forearm definition and I’m pretty lean, so my veins are visible too. I know getting a sleeve will hide some of the muscle definition and vascularity, which is what’s making this decision harder.

My right arm is my dominant arm, so my forearm is bigger and more developed, but the veins aren’t as visible. My left forearm is smaller, but way more vascular.

So now I’m stuck between:

Tattooing my left arm since it’s already the smaller forearm anyway, so I care less about covering it up, but losing the vascularity kinda sucks.

Or tattooing my right arm since it’s bigger and less veiny already, which might balance things out more overall.

Part of me thinks I should just commit to the left forearm and screw the vascularity. Curious what other people would do.

TLDR: Want a forearm sleeve tattoo but can’t decide which arm. Right arm is bigger but less vascular. Left arm is smaller but way more veiny. Not sure whether to preserve the vascularity or just tattoo the smaller arm and commit.
