Synthetic wig feels «waxy» after washing

I've washed many synthetic wigs, some with fabric softener, others with normal shampoo or soap, and I've never experienced this problem.

My current wig just turn out «waxy»/greasy after I wash it. After it has dried it feels awfull, and my hands get greasy when I feel it.

Does anyone know why some wigs react this way?
