I was stalked

12 years ago when I was living in the city I connected with this guy who was a festival director. I randomly commented on one of the festival facebook posts and he slid into my DMs asking about what kind of music I was into.
I was 21 and he was 28. He hooked me up with tickets to a gig that was happening and said I could bring some friends and that he’d like to meet me.
We started hanging out. I was studying at university and so wasn’t really looking for anything serious.
He was ok with that and so that was it.

Or so I thought. We’d been seeing each other on and off for a couple of months until one day I got these random messages from him saying that he didn’t want to see me again and that he was just using me.
I was abit confused. And agreed that’s fine.

Then I’d get random messages again asking what I was up to and if I wanted to hang out?
Confused I just ignored the messages.

Then one day I was at work, I worked as a waitress and I was serving this table of women and one of the girls would not stop looking at me.
I went back to the staff room and one of my colleagues who knew a few of the girls told me that one of the girls was the guy that I’d been seeing’s girlfriend.

Shocked i messaged him confronting him that he’s a lier and that his girlfriend is stalking me.
He said that he’d broken up with her and she’s absolutely crazy.
I didn’t know who to believe and told him I don’t want anything to do with him and his crazy ex.
He seemed abit gutted but agreed.

More time went by and I started receiving more messages from him. Telling me that he thought I was a hoe. And that he was only sleeping with me because he felt sorry for me.
I was super confused. And said I’ve asked you not to message me. Please leave me alone.

More time goes by and I receive messages from him saying that he’s really upset things ended and that he can’t stop thinking of me.

I was like are you mentally unstable? You messaged me last telling me I’m a hoe and that you just felt sorry for me.
He then informs me that he suspects his ex girlfriend still has access to his iPad and was messaging me.

By that point I was already checked out and wished him well with that.
