Built a free app to protect Filipinos from scams before they lose their savings
I kept seeing people lose money to scams they could have avoided. Not because they were careless, but because scammers are persistent and everyone has moments where they're not thinking straight.
I figured even catching the obvious ones before they reach someone's inbox could save a family from a really bad day. So I built Nino.
What it does:
Paste any suspicious text, link, or caller info and it tells you if it's a scam. It also silently filters scam SMS before they even hit your inbox, no manual checking needed. Free to download. One-time Pro unlock, no subscription.
What makes it different from global spam filters:
It's built specifically for Philippine scams. GCash phishing, fake BDO and BPI alerts, DOLE job scams, the stuff that actually circulates here. Generic filters miss these because they're not looking for them.

Still early, currently on TestFlight. I'm building a live scam database fed by real reports so it gets smarter over time.
