Hello! WOW! @CariniJams / Portal Noir on Instagram here back at it again for you all. Questions, concerns, say thanks, share your cover? I'm on IG 24/7 so hit me up!

It is 5/12/2026, Trey first played this with Ghosts of the Forest proper on 4/4/2019. It has been 7 years, and nobody decided to chord out such a special song?
I get it. It's transparently a Trey tune sang to the masses. Important, meaningful, beautiful, and when I finished writing this transcription I played for my partner and she cried.. so how am I the one to get to this
seven years later? It's interesting to unfold that fact upon you all.
I am so so happy you are here reading this chord chart.

Trey plays this in Drop D Standard. Absolutely gorgeous.
" * strums Drop D open Dsus2 Chord * I can do this all day. " - Ernest Anastasio III, Grammy Museum, 9-25-19

Fiddle around a bit with the G>Gm>Dsus2 turnaround.
The way I'm going to write this is Dsus2 for ALL D string 0-2-4-5. It will be written under the same chord.
He is playing the open D string, D > E > F# > G as the 0-2-4-5.
You know the song by listening - so i entrust my fellow Phish fans to treat this song dearly, and delicately, as it is possibly the most fragile tune in Phish history.
