Nostril piercing advice

I've been stalking this sub in the past ~6 months in hopes that my nostril piercing will heal. Here are some quick facts:

• Got it pierced at end of Nov. 2025, my dog unfortunately jumped on my face in Dec. (out of excitement, haha) and it's had a bump since
• Bump is occasionally red, mostly flesh colored at this stage
• Titanium labret
• Labret was upsized in February due to swelling. The jewelry itself wasn't changed, but the labret is longer. Bump has gone down overall since

I feel like I've tried everything. Saline soaks, hot water soaks, once/twice a day saline spray, no spray at all, rinsing in the shower, in the sink, no touching at all, bandaid at night (rarely). And some everchanging combination of these.

I also have allergies that make me sneeze/blow my nose a lot, so I even figured that out (turned out to be a great side quest). I started sleeping with a neck pillow to avoid hitting it in my sleep. Right now I'm not doing much other than the neck pillow, allergy meds, the occasional saline spray once a day, and not avoiding water in the shower.

Overall, the bump has definitely lessened in size in the past few months, but it is still VERY temperamental and gets irritated seemingly out of nowhere, even though I know it's something. I just had a good bump week where it was super small and then it became larger again. This has happened countless times.

What should I do?
