Question regarding CPU clockspeed

Ok so wanted to upgrade my pc by swapping from an amd 5 5500 to an amd 7 5800x[t],which already brought...however I misread the max cpu clckspeed of my motherboard,cause my motherboard is official able to handle up to 3.744 GHZ,my new cpu has a base clockspeed of 3.8.

So I wanted to ask if I can still use that CPU in my current pc and if yes then at what effiency will it run?
