Can my neighbours likely smell when I smoke?

I have been smoking ☘️ regularly since the beginning of the year. I’ve just now (yes, now) realised that maybe my neighbors can smell it? I live in a detached house and have neighbors on each side fairly close, I usually smoke out on my backyard which faces a mountain or inside in the bathroom bc because I don’t like my whole house smelling like old smoke. Is it likely that they can smell it? It’s always pretty windy here and one of them has plastic on their windows to prevent AC from getting out. There’s no way in hell i’m asking them but I also don’t want them to complain first because surely, instead of talking to me they’ll just go to the police or contact my mother who’s the owner of the house I live in rn, either way I’d be dead lol
