Felling alone at 25, While others are moving ahead

General Discussion

… today I realized something that honestly hurt me more than I expected. I was in my village, just looking around at people I’ve known for years, and I noticed that almost everyone younger than me has already moved ahead in life in some way. Some are in relationships, some are engaged, and some are even married. And then there’s me — a 25-year-old guy who hasn’t even managed to make a single female friend, let alone have a girlfriend.

Sometimes I look at my own situation and genuinely start feeling bad for myself. I begin wondering if I’m really that unattractive or unworthy. Maybe the problem is my appearance, or maybe it’s just my lack of confidence. The truth is, I’ve never had the courage to talk to girls properly. Every time I think about starting a conversation, my confidence disappears before I can even try.

What hurts even more is that everywhere I look — my friend circle, my school memories, my college life, even my village — I’m the only one who seems completely inexperienced when it comes to girls and relationships. Everyone else has stories, memories, experiences, or at least someone they can talk to. Meanwhile, I’m still standing at zero. Sometimes it honestly makes me feel left behind in life.

And yes, even at 25, I’m still a ‘V-card holder’ — if you know, you know. At this point, I’ve made a decision for myself: if this year ends and I still don’t find someone who genuinely connects with me, then maybe I’ll just stay single forever. Not because I hate love, but because I’m tired of feeling like I’m not meant for it.”
