Question, Has it been established that Julie can’t go forward in the story? And if she can am I the only one who thought this?

I thought when Julie story walked in the latest episode she went forward and saw that the same thing that happened to victor as a child was gonna happen again but I see people saying that she actually went to the event victor was present for. Is this a known fact or speculation? A lot of people have guessed that the show will end with Ethan being the new victor and this could be a huge sign of that being an option.
