Built a sleep track based on actual brain wave research — free, no ads, curious if it helps
Couldn't sleep for months so I went down a rabbit hole on the neuroscience of sleep and ended up building my own track.
The short version: your brain has to pass through Alpha → Theta → Delta to reach deep sleep, and most sleep music does nothing to help that happen. Binaural beats can actually guide your brain through each stage if you use the right frequencies in the right order — so that's what I built.
It shifts from 10Hz to 6Hz to 3Hz over the first two minutes, then holds in delta for the rest. 432Hz tuning, pink noise loud enough to actually block outside sounds, and a slow pulse that brings your heart rate down with it. Took me weeks to get right.
I put the 30 min version on YouTube for free - no ads, no interruptions: https://youtu.be/RzMUlqLthQM
Would love to know if it actually does anything for anyone else. Especially curious if you notice something shift around the 1–2 minute mark. Headphones work best.
