Hiring José Mourinho as the next manager would honestly be one of the worst decisions this club could make right now.

Discussion

Football has changed, but Mourinho hasn’t. His style is outdated, overly defensive, and built around short-term success that usually leaves clubs in a worse position a few years later. Everywhere he goes lately, there’s drama, toxic press conferences, conflicts with players, and a divided fanbase.

And that’s exactly the last thing this club needs right now. There are already so many problems internally, poor decisions, instability behind the scenes, lack of direction, and obvious tension around the club. Bringing Mourinho into that environment would not fix anything. If anything, it would make the situation even worse.

Instead of calming things down and rebuilding properly, the club would invite even more pressure, more headlines, and more internal chaos. Mourinho thrives in conflict, but this club needs structure, patience, and a long-term vision.

This club needs stability, modern football, and someone who can actually build something for the future, not another short term experiment based on a big name and nostalgia.

Mourinho is a legendary manager, no doubt. But football moves fast, and nostalgia should never decide the future of a club.
